Party With a Purpose 2015
WHAT IS A PARTY WITH A PURPOSE?
Party With a Purpose (PWAP) is a monthly event hosted by Entrepreneurs across the county. As a young company with Entrepreneurs who are just beginning to build their wealth, I wanted to give the community a concept for monthly events to carry the energy, passion and vision for your business forward...month after month after month.
The PWAP is an opportunity to come together with other Entrepreneurs throughout Soul Purpose and Youngevity within your local market. In doing so, you can combine resources, energy, talent, etc to create an amazing event to promote and showcase Soul Purpose and Youngevity (including all of the brands represented under its umbrella).
THE SCHEDULE:
I suggest that you pick a consistent day of the month to hold your PWAP based on what will work for the majority of the team. For example: 2nd Saturday, 1st Wednesday or whatever works. Beware that you WILL NOT be able to get all team members to agree, so just be sure you can commit to the dates and those who can, will!
Publish your schedule by sending all of your dates for 2015 to cheryl@anewcoaching.com. Be sure to also include all the details:
- Date
- Location (name of location, address, zip code)
- Your contact information (Name, email and phone #)
- Cost to attend (There should be a nominal cost for Entrepreneurs of $5-10 to cover expenses, but guests are usually FREE.)
- Registration information (even if the event is free to guests, you'll still want to have everyone register to have an estimate of how many people to expect.)
LIVE CONFERENCE LINK
During the PWAP event, Soul Purposewill host a LIVE CONFERENCE LINK at 4:30pm ET. Just dial in for an encouraging word and announcements from CEO/Founder, Nadine Thompson and Executive Vice President, Cheryl Cormier.

PROMOTE YOUR EVENT!
Soul Purpose will promote your event. Just send the
details (location address, date/time, your contact information, registration
instructions, etc) to visionarycircle@soulpurpose.com. We will publish your event on your personal website, SOULPURPOSE.COM and via email to everyone on our community and general distribution lists.
Tips to get your party started:
1. Select your location. Keep it simple.
a. If your home is an option, you can set up your
display and host your PWAP without the commute and hassle.
b. If an outside location is more desirable, choose
wisely based on cost and convenience for you. FREE is obviously best. Places
like Panera Breads and Starbucks
that have a semi private room will often just require that everyone purchase
drinks. Or, you can provide the coffee and cookies.
2. Select your theme.
Since our corporate campaign for the 1st quarter is
PRETTY FACES, skin care should be your focus. Of course, however, you could
integrate a BE MY Valentine's concept and shopping for January & February.
(By our February date (9th), keep in mind that there may only be enough
shipping time to sell from your inventory.)
3. Fill the room.
Many people base their expectations for people to show
up on their experience with family and friends. This is not the same. Even if
they confirm, it's a 50/50 chance that they will NOT TO SHOW UP. So the answer
is:
a. OVERBOOK! If you want 10 people to show
up...invite until you have at least 20 confirmations.
b. OVER INVITE! To fill your room,
you should use all of your opportunities and resources to INVITE guests. To get
20 confirmations, you may need to invite as many as 80 guests.
c. SAMPLE! SAMPLE! SAMPLE! This is the BEST tool
to introduce yourself and Soul Purpose to new people by giving them a
"taste" of what they will experience at your event.
d. BUILD RELATIONSHIPS. From the first
sample, your role is to nurture the relationship with your new contact. In you
follow-up contacts, emphasize the fun they will have, tell them about any
specials they'll be eligible for just for coming, encourage them to bring
friends. The more the merrier, right?
4. Have fun.
The ultimate goal is to sell products and sign new
business partners, but ensuring your guests have FUN in the process is key.
Just make the experience of your guests the main priority, sprinkle in a bit of
product knowledge, personal care education and recognition in with music and a
glass of wine...you'll have a winning combination.
5. Follow-Up.
Whether they attend the PWAP or not, every new contact
has a POTENTIAL. They may become a CUSTOMER OR BUSINESS PARTNER, or they may
recommend you to be part of a special event. They may refer friends and family
to you for products. The possibilities of what the relationship will lead to
are endless but you'll never know unless you do the work to FOLLOW-UP!
6. Don't Quit.
Remember you are building your business and events from
the ground. It takes time for "word of mouth" energy to build. So,
whether 2 people or 20 people show up is not as important as it is for you to
be persistent. An obstacle or set-back doesn't mean quit; it means find a
better route to achieve your goal. So, keep at it and DON'T QUIT!
